The Fifth Cycle of Rage of Vengeance has started October 2008!

Rage of Vengeance is a playerkill mud, giving players the choice to either play good- or evil-aligned in the eternal struggle between good and evil. Good and evil each has its own homelands, located on opposite sides of the map. Players are encouraged to get some levels and go out to seek the enemy and try to kill them.

Some other features:
- Barbarian, Thief, Assassin, Sorcerer, Battlemage, Druid, Vampire, Paladin, Astra, Dark Knight, Healer classes,
- Very easy leveling for the first 35 levels,
- Up to 90 mortal levels,
- Quests, bounties and chores to be done when pk-action is low,
- Smart 'robot'-players to kill for pleasure and PK-practice,
- Hireable henchmen to help you out,
- A 'location' command to show your surroundings and a 'travel' command to help you find your way,
- Our own code base (Ragemud, 99 percent modified SMAUG; much resemblance with the Emlen code now),
- 140+ spells and 50+ skills,
- An Annual Playerwipe (Cycles) to give new(er) players a chance to start even with the rest and for experienced players to try something different, and
- Alltime statistics of the cycles on the website to make it all worthwile.

Still a great game

If you haven't played latley, you haven't played at all! The immortals here have been updating and adding new all original things on a fairly regular basis.

Having played this game for years, I came back to find it's still as fun as the first day I played.

If you looking for an almost all original world and lots to explore and do, look no further.

you should come in...you never played a mud like that before... you have everything,guild,remort,quest,eq that you cant even think about it ;) amd most important friendly player :D

Fun game

I am a long time player returning to this great game after some time. I was sad to see very few people playing it! Although I have a ton of fun playing this mostly original game with very few people, it's always more fun with more people! So come give it a try and I bet you won't be dissapointed.

This is a perfect game for anyone who likes to develop characters explore an ancient world and hunt down and destroy players from the opposite alignment!
