Aabahran: The Forsaken Lands

FL (as it is affectionately called by it's players) it's a MUD set in its own special and largely original world. Like many Dungeon and Dragon type games, the Forsaken Lands is level and class based with a myriad of choices ranging from the holy and noble paladin to the soul-consuming necromancer. Several special races and classes are also available by application, such as vampires, demons, psionicists and crusaders.

As a player for the last seven+ years, it's hard to remain free from bias. However, having played other MUDS I must say that I have not experienced anything comparable. Pulse-pumping PvP (player killing) melds effortlessly with player-chosen Roleplay to create a world where your character runs the show. Would you prefer to play the dark mage, awash in the dark dealings of the NEXUS cabal? Or perhaps a champion of holy justice as KNIGHT? Perhaps even a simple peasant cast in to the tumultuous dealings of the TRIBUNAL lawmen who rule with an iron fist? The choice is yours.

With players spanning the globe, you are sure to find companions in whatever quest you decide to embark upon. And for those who choose to cast their soul blindly in to the abyss, there is a competent and caring immortal-staff always willing to lend a hand.
